Meet our people: Emanoel Mustafa

Field Analyst

What was your background before joining Carbon Credits Consulting?

As a geographer with a master’s degree in geography, I have always worked in the environmental field, starting from my undergraduate studies, continuing through postgraduate and master’s studies. Professionally, I worked at a private company from 2017 to 2021 as an environmental analyst for rural projects.

What is your role as a Field Analyst at CCC? What are your main activities?

As a field analyst, my work primarily involves liaising with owners of native forests in the Amazon and with new proponents interested in preserving forests through our REDD+ projects at Carbon Credits Consulting. Additionally, I am responsible for managing field logistics when our specialized team needs to visit forested areas. I collaborate closely with teams both in Brazil and Italy. I am also in charge of gathering the initial cartographic information for the forest areas that will be part of the WARG REDD+ bundled project.

I provide information and guidance to communities on how a carbon project operates.

What is your favorite part of working at CCC?

I see that CCC has a fundamental role together with the owners in the environmental, social, and economic commitment in the regions in which it develops the projects. Being part of that process and contributing is a favorite part of mine.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I have always enjoyed playing soccer, but unfortunately, I stopped doing it since 2019. Nowadays, I only watch the championships on television and work out at the gym every day, which has become a habit. I like exploring new cuisines and cultures, and as a result, I enjoy traveling.
