Introduction
This section is an integral and substantial part of the site’s Privacy Policy and the information contained therein issued pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679. This Cookie Policy is provided to interested users of the site in compliance also with the provisions and recommendations issued by the Italian Authority for the protection of personal data in its Cookie Guidelines and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021

What is a cookie?
Cookies are strings of text that websites visited by users (so-called “first parties”) or different sites or web servers (so-called “third parties”) place and store within the user’s terminal device, so that they can then be retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. They have various purposes such as, for example, allowing you to navigate efficiently between web pages, remembering your favorite sites and, in general, improving the browsing experience. Cookies also help to ensure that advertising content displayed online is targeted to the user’s personal needs based on their interests.

Type of cookies
Technical cookies
Cookies necessary for navigation or to provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for other purposes and are installed directly by the owner of the website. The user’s prior consent is not required for the installation of this type of cookie.

They can in turn be divided into:  

• Navigation or session cookies,  which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, authentication  to access restricted areas); they are in fact necessary for the correct functioning of the site;
• Functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user.

Profiling cookies
Cookies used to track the user’s browsing behavior in order to create qualitative and behavioral profiles relating to the latter. They are also used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing.

Analytical cookies
Cookies assimilated to technical cookies where used directly by the site owner to collect information, in anonymous and aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve performance. The types of cookies mentioned above can be:

• Temporary, when they are automatically deleted at the end of the connection by the user;
• Permanent, when they remain stored on the user’s device, unless
  the user deletes them voluntarily.
