The Western Amazon Redd+ Grouped Project is a significant undertaking that is helping to combat the harmful effects of deforestation in the Amazon biome. By protecting over 60,000 hectares of rainforest, this project is playing a crucial role in reducing the carbon emissions that result from deforestation. Fazenda Nascente do Luar and Fazenda Sao Paulo ARR projects in the Cerrado, are contributing to bringing back to life areas that were previously completely degraded. These projects are implementing sustainable land use practices to revitalize areas that were once barren and lifeless. These efforts not only help to create economic opportunities but also provide new habitats for a diverse range of species, and mitigate the effects of deforestation.
